Oldies and Goldies

They came from near and far to remember a teammate tragically killed in a road accident nine years ago. Past players returned on Sunday 11th May for a special match in memory of Lee Thompson. To view photos and read about the Oldies v Goldies match click here.

Ladies Heading for Runners-Up Spot

Despite being unbeaten in 2008, it looks as if our ladies team will have to settle for runners-up spot in the Eastern Region Premier Division after a fine winning run by Norwich City Ladies that has taken them three points clear at the top with just one game remaining. On Sunday we could only draw 1-1 with Cambridge United in a match that saw Jemma Smythe and Amy Brookes taken to hospital with head injuries. Norwich are now three points clear and have a superior goal difference. For us to win the league Norwich would have to lose their final game and we would have to beat Royston by at least eight clear goals.

Youth Fun Day

Plans for the annual youth teams' fun day at Hethersett Junior School on Saturday June 7th are well advanced.
