Hethersett's first ever competitive Saturday match saw them beat Northwold 3-1 with an impressive performance against a tam tipped to be one of the frontrunners.

Hethersett made it two wins out of two despite missing a catalogue of chances. They restricted Thurton to just a handful of chances and the winner came from Phil Brindley after just 10 minutes. Before the game the players met with Ivan and Paul Fisher from their sponsors - Ivan Fisher Funeral Directors. Hethersett made it three wins out of three by knocking Division Two side Dickleburgh out of the Ben Smith Memorial Cup.

September 13th -  Breckland Wanderers    0     Hethersett    13

Hethersett destroyed Breckland in the first round of the Pease Cup and were three goals up in the first six minutes, six up in 14 minutes and 8-0 ahead at the interval.

September 20th - Castle Acre Swifts     2    Hethersett   8

Hethersett made it three league wins out of three and maintained their top of the table posiition with a comfortbale victory over Castle Acre despite going behind. They came back with a vengeance and another eight goals.

September 27th                   Hethersett     3      Bunwell    2

Hethersett maintained their unbeaten league and cup record but had to fight all the way against Bunwell from two divisions above them. Hethersett missed a hatful of chances in this county cup game and almost paid the price. They were just one goal ahead at the break thanks to Danny Gray. After the interval they raced into a 3-0 lead with goals from Gary Davis and Matt Steward but then struggled to hold Bunwell who came back with two goals.

Hethersett were forced to make a number of changes through inavailability but still managed to beat second placed Colkirk to stay top of the league.

Hethersett hit double figures for the second time this season when they hit 11 past bottom club Bunwell Reserves with Danny Gray hitting four and Paul Grimwood 3.

Both teams went into this game with 100% league records, but once again Hethersett destroyed the opposition to make it maximum points from their first six games. Danny Gray hit his fourth hat-trick of the season.

Hethersett made it seven league wins out of seven with a comfortable victory over Shropham Reserves with all the goals coming in the first half. Danny Gray hot his fifth hat-trick of the season to take his tally to 19.
