Hethersett played with good spirit despite being 2-0 down at half-time. They worked hard and deserved more from the game but their finishing let them down. All three goals came from defensive errors.

Hethersett got off to a fine start with an excellent goal from Charlie Bion who beat two players and scored with a long range effort. Hethersett had plenty of chances and played well and were unlucky not to win with Jex's equaliser coming following a Hethersett free-kick.

September 28th           Taverham     5      Hethersett     0

Hethersett were beaten by a much more experienced Taverham side. Hethersett battled to the end in an entertaining match where they played some nice passing football. Taverham were first to the ball. Ollie Hudson-Church battled hard in defence with Nathan Pell pulling off some fine saves in goal.

October 19th               Sprowston      4   Hethersett     1

Hethersett battled well and were unfortunate to lose 4-1. Three of the goals were into the top corner and the fourth just rolled over the line. Tom Williams scored a consolation goal when he rounded the keeper to score from a narrow angle.

October 19th           Hethersett        0     Hellesdon     1

Hethersett dominated the match and were desperately unlucky to lose. Chances went begging as Hethersett pushed forward. Hethersett only had one real chance when their player ran through from the halfway line to score.

November 2nd          Hethersett        0    Taverham       0

Hethersett were well beaten by a strong Taverham side who passed the ball well and left Hethersett chasing shadows. Hethersett were weakened by players being unavailable. They battled hard to the end and showed good spirit.

November 2nd           Hethersett       0    Spixworth      4

Hethersett played a lot better in this game with Ollie Hudson Church pulling off some great saves in goal. Hethersett had some great chances with the introduction of Tom Williams up front.

November 16th            Lakeford     1     Hethersett     3

Hethersett dominated the match from the start and were unlucky to go a goal down to a penalty after handball. Tom Williams equalised before half-time. Hethersett soaked up pressure in the second half with Lakeford going close on a number of occasions, hitting the bar and finding Ollie Hudson Church in great form in goal. Williams went on to complete a fine hat-trick to give Hethersett a 3-1 win.

November 30th                   Wymondham     2     Hethersett   0

This was a closely fought match with some good football and Hethersett were unlucky to go in a goal down at half-time. Hethersett had the slope advantage after the nreak but failed to take advantage of it and Wymondham scored a second.

November  30th               Old Catton    4        Hethersett     0

Hethersett battled really hard and were only one down at half-time. Catton played well in the second half and added three more goals.

December 14th                 Horsford       8     Hethersett     0

Horsford were quicker to the ball than Hethersett but the visitors continued to battle throughout. Horsford played good football, leaving Hethersett to chase shadows. Hethersett played the match in good spirit and tried throughout.

Hethersett got off to a good start with an early goal and then conceded one. They took the lead again but then gave away another equaliser. Once again Hethersett took the lead but once again they couldn't hold onto it.
