Who's Who at Hethersett Athletic

Peter Steward is club chairman and also fulfils the roles of Marketing/Promotions Officer, newsletter co-ordinator and web editor.

He has been involved with the club virtually from its foundation, running teams from Under-10 level to adults.

He has now given up "coaching" to concentrate on the development and promotion of the club and this includes the official internet site.

He has been club chairman for the past eight years. Peter is married with two adult sons, both of whom play for the club (see the Where are they now section).

He has a Master of Arts degree in professional development from the University of East Anglia, an advance certificate in education from the UEA and a diploma in Sports Psychology from Newcastle University.

He is also a trained journalist and outside of football his interests include literature, art and music (both rock and classical). He is also chair of Hethersett Middle School Board of Governors.

Mel Perkins is club secretary and treasurer and founded Hethersett Athletic in 1991, when the club had just one youth team at Under-12 level.

Ray Milne is the club's development officer and is responsible for seeking sponsorship and organising social and fund-raising events.

Sue Milne is vice-chair and child protection officer

Nick Tarrant is in charge of club soccer development.

Details of the above officers will appear in the near future.
