For
the first time ever the youth teams held their own presentation event
which was linked with a funday and fete at Hethersett Middle School.
Five-a-side
football matches were interspersed by individual presentation events
throughout the day which included a barbecue and a number of stalls.
"The
day was a great success and a wonderful way of showcasing the club and
our links with the local community," said club chairman Peter
Steward.
Awards
during the day were presented by Chair of Norfolk FA Stuart Dracup,
former Norwich City player Peter Mendham, and coaches and managers from
the club's adult sides.
Special
club awards went to Peter Wiltshire (golden boot for scoring 70 goals -
a club record), Andy Oliver and Chris Kerr (Football Workforce County FA
Certificates for outstanding contribution to football) and Tom Rainsford
(Lee Thompson Memorial Trophy). Along with the individual team awards,
the club presented appearance trophies to those achieving 50 and 100
appearances.
Appearance
trophies for 100 games went to the following: Jacob Morrison
(under-15s), Chris Marshall (under-15s), Lucas Cooper (under-15s), Jack
Raven (under-15s), Nathan Cooper (under-14s), Matt Molloy (under-14s),
Robert Gamble (under-13s), Craig Blanchflower (under-12s).
Appearance
trophies for 50 games went to the following: Ryan Turner
(under-15s), Daniel Tidy (under-14s), Thomas Boggan (under-13s), Lewis
Rodgers (under-13s), Oliver Mirza (under-13s), David Chambers
(under-13s), Samuel Rock (under-12s), Ben Fryer (under-12s), Luke House
(under-11s), Alex Richardson (under-11s), Bryony Radley (under-11s),
Toby Wyatt (under-11s), Ben Annis (under-11s), Camilla Munro (under-14
girls), Holly Clarke (under-14 girls).

Under-8s

Match Awards (voted for by the opposition) - A Team, Peter Wiltshire; B
Team, Steven Jessop. The team paraded the South Norfolk Sunday League
Trophy and League Cup after achieving a superb double.

The Under-16s had a separate presentation evening at East Harling Social
Club on Saturday 13th May when the following trophies were presented:

season, Alex Lyall; Most improved player, Josh Guinness; Clubman of the
Year, Dominic Chandler.
Under-14
Girls (presented by their manager Richard Munro): Players Player of
the Season, Polly Tarrant; Most Improved Player, Imogen Stevenson;
Managers Player of the Season, Philippa Symons.
The
club also announced that it will be running an Under-11s girls team next
season and their manager and coach Joe Cooper was introduced.
