Youths' Presentation and Funday 2009

Funday 2009 was held at Hethersett Junior School on Sunday, June 14th and met with gloriously hot and sunny weather which contrasted with the torrential rain of the previous year. All the stands and refreshment tents did good business during the event which showcased the talents of the youth and girls teams.

 

Small sided games were held on the back field with  12 of the club's teams from the Under-8s to the Under-16s holding individual presentations.

 

 

Club appearance trophies for 50, 100 and 150 games were also presented to the following:

 

Under-11s - 100 appearances, Sam Comb, Ashley Gray and Matthew Pummell; 50 appearances, Simon Larkowsky.

Under-12s - 100 appearances, Matthew Butcher; 50 appearances, Will Parker and Tom Wyatt

Under-13s - 100 appearances, Will Plumb, Nick Rathjen, Lewis Sanders and Max Tarrant; 50 appearances, Will Foster

Under-14s - 100 appearances, Ben Annis, Adam Cooney and Alex Richardson; 50 appearances, Stuart Dix and Liam Finch.

Under-15s - 150 appearances, Danny Dalmay and Jake Keeley; 50 appearances, Adam Edwards and Shane Smith.

Under-16s - 150, Nathan Cooper; 100, Lewis Rodgers; 50, Tom Bird, Andy Smith and Darrell Wigger.

Under-16 Girls - 50 appearances, Charlotte Swann

 

 

Individual team presentations were made to the following:

 

Under-8s: Best attitude and clubman of the year, Jack Boyce; Most improved player, Aiden Standley; Managers player of the year, Ryan Crowder-Barr; Players player of the year, Ben Kimberley.

 

Under-9s: Players player of the year, Ben Watson; Managers player of the year, Ollie Hudeson-Church; Clubman of the year, Josh Bradshaw; Top goalscorer, Tom Williams; Best attendance at training, Aaron Walker; Most improved player, Taylor Morris

 

Under-10s: Players player of the year, Jack Freeman; Parents player of the year, Joe Moorhouse; Managers player of the season, Tyler White; Top goalscorer, Lewis Baxter; Most improved player, Bradley Tillett; Best attendance at traiing, Daniel Mehtab; Clubman of the year, Jasper Williams.

 

Under-11s: Manager's player of the year, Spencer Lawrence; Players player of the year, Guy Peres; Parents/supporters player of the year, Ashley Gray; Top goalscorer, Ashley Gray.

 

Under-12s: Top goalscorer, Matthew Butcher; Players player of the year, James Lemmon; Parents player of the year, Tom Read; Most improved player, Andy Cowan; Manager's player of the year, Tom Read.

 

Under-13s: Supporters player of the year, James Burton; Players player of the year, James Burton; Best attitude, Luke Maddox; Golden boot, Will Foster; Managers player of the year, Will Plumb.

 

Under-13 Girls: Top goalscorer, Sophie Rock; Most improved player, Erica Hall; Manager's player of the year, Constance Canning and Letitia Dye; Players Player of the Year, Ella Stephenson.

 

Under-14s: Managers award, Alex Richardson; players player of the season, Josh Wilcox

 

Under-15s: Supporters' player of the year, Adam Edwards and Jake Keeley; Players player of the year, Dom Frost.

 

Under-16s: Top goalscorer, Sam Brooks; Players player of the year, Josh Alsopp; Sponsors' players of the year, James Youngs and Harley Hammil; Managers Player of the Year, Josh Alsopp

Under-16 Girls: Players player of the year, Megan Todd; Managers player of the year, Emma Mulley; Most improved player, Paige Hunton.

 

Committee member Simon Crowe received a special National FA Workforce certificate for his contribution to football and the club. Simon is the club's facilities officer and has overseen a considerable amount of work to imrpove the playing surfaces at the Memorial Field.
