WHERE TO FIND US  

 

A National FA Community Charter Club

Schools' Liaison Officer

Main Purpose of the Role 

To establish and maintain links between the football club and local schools, to promote HAFC status as a community charter club and to look at ways of promoting closer involvement and collaborations between the club and local schools. 

Actual Duties Involved 

         Meeting with local school at least twice per calendar year

·        Be a club contact for local schools

·        Ensure local schools receive information about the club and club activities

·        Establishing ways the club can support the local schools football programme

·        Look at opportunities to collaborate with local schools (e.g. facilities, new team start-ups)

 

Liaise With

 

·        HAFC Club Development Officers

·        Youth team coaches

·        Head teachers in local schools

·        Extended Schools Liaison Officer – Local Council 

 

The Post Holder will be Responsible to 

·        HAFC Club Committee 

 

Meetings Attended 

·        Regular Club Meetings

·        Ad-hoc and formal meetings with schools and council officers 

 

Estimated Time Commitment 

·        Approximately 7 hours per month – subject to requirements

Term 

·        12 Months
