Cut price tickets are available for the Alex Notman Benefit match at Carrow Road
Our details in the Norfolk County Council sports club and South Norfolk District Council leisure services databases have been updated
Martin Mowser is recovering well from his injury and his insurance claim is being processed.
Mel has done a breakdown of the club membership with 281 members of which 236 are male and 45 female. A total of 145 come from the NR9 postal area and the majority of members come from either the club catchment or surrounding areas.
The club is to propose a change to the rules at county level in an attempt to allow girls to play Under-11 boys football
Further correspondence has been received from Phil Kelly which was considered unsatisfactory. Ray Milne will look at what photographs he has on the Carrow Road cup final.
Nothing has been heard from the playing field committee re the tree roots
The club has the possibility of cut price tickets for the coming Women's European championships which will be held in the North-East.

5/ Letter from Playing Field Committee

The chairman read a letter from the playing field committee complaining about comments made at a recent club meeting re facilities on the Memorial Park. He saw this letter as being an attack on both the club and himself and had sent a rigorous response. It was agreed that relationships between the club and playing field committee need to be improved and Mark Kerr agreed to attend the playing committee's next meeting. It was also agreed to have a working party during the summer to clean up the changing rooms with a view to the football club having a bigger involvement in their upkeep.

6/ Treasurer's Report

Mel passed round the latest accounts which showed that most teams had either met or were close to meeting their quota for the year. Vickie Potter was thanked for organising the recent first team quiz.

7/ Team Updates.

Under-7s, Under-8s, Under-9s. The mini section were still training and it is hoped to enter an Under-8s league next season. Since the last meeting the Under-9s had won one and lost one.

Under-10s: A very enjoyable season has finished and the team is looking to re-structure for 11-a-side next season.

Under-11s: Finished the season with 3-1 and 9-1 wins and are second in their league, although teams below them still have matches to play. The team would like to step up into the A league for next season.

Under-12s: Had a stormy match against Attleborough which resulted in Attleborough walking off. The matter is in the hands of Norfolk FA. The team is looking to pick up more players for next season.

Under-13s: Have had a difficult season after losing coach Tim Underwood. Nevertheless finished the season with a win and two draws and are now looking to re-structure for the new season.

Under-14s: Beat Harling 11-1 and Salhouse 7-0, but lost to Lakeford. Are currently top of the league and will be playing second placed Wymondham at Wicklewood at the weekend, needing to draw to win the league. Top scorer Chris Marshall has won the club's golden boot with 35 goals.

Women's: They are third in the league with plenty of games to play. The team will be losing a number of players to university next season and are looking to completely re-structure with Tom Parke taking over as coach. Sue Milne was congratulated on managing the county's Under-16s to the South-Eastern Counties Championship.

Men's A: Have finished third in their league and have lost only one game this year. The team has a good disciplinary record and kept more clean sheets than any other side in their league.

Men's Reserves: Finished fifth from bottom, but suffered a number of injuries during the season. Most of the players have already committed themselves to the team next season and there are high hopes that the side will do well.

Men's Firsts: After leading the Premier Division, the side fell apart near the end of the season and are likely to finish about fifth. Have found it difficult to raise a team in the last few weeks. Nevertheless they have fulfilled the aim of finishing in the top half of the league and will be looking to mount a serious title challenge next season.

8/ Team Commitments for 2005/2006

The club will be running teams at U-9, U-10, U-11, U-12, U13, U-14, U-15, women's and men's levels. Further discussion on this will take place at the next meeting.

9/ Development Officer's Report

Ray stated that arrangements for the presentation evening were going well and he had saved money on a photographer and disco. After a long discussion it was agreed to employ children's entertainers and also some audio visual in keeping with past presentation evenings. It is hoped that Norwich City's Leon Mackenzie will be the guest of honour. Vice-presidents will be invited to award the prizes and Easton College will be invited to mount a display. Workforce certificates will be presented to mark outstanding contributions to the club. The chair asked for nominations for the Lee Thompson Trophy by the next committee meeting.

10/ Women's Football - The Future

With a number of players moving on to University it was felt that now is the time to forge ahead with women's football by attracting new players and attempting to step up to the Eastern Area League. Tom Parke is taking over as coach and the club is keen to have the strongest possible set-up in women's football. This has the full backing of the committee

11/ Football Development Officer's Report

Mark distributed workforce certificates for nominations to be awarded at the presentation evening.

He has applied to a Barclays Bank fund for £800 of coaching kit which would be given to the seven to nine year olds if we are successful.

Mark said he was looking to step down from his role as football development officer at the agm.

12/ Pitches, Kit etc

Mel asked for teams to consider which pitches they would be using next season, He read a letter from Old Hall School suggesting increases in hire charges. It was thought that these still represented good value due to the outstanding state of the pitches. It was decided to approach Old Hall with a view to more teams using the facilities.

13/ Date of Meeting with Easton College.

This was provisionally set for 25th April at 7 p.m. The chairman will confirm with the college.
