Minutes
of Previous Meeting
Agreed
to be a correct record Secretary’s
Report
Mel
reported a hectic round of registrations and league affiliation. League
fees have been paid. Some teams had not filled in their equality
monitoring forms and Richard Gamble stated that his side were against
filling these in. The
club was not represented at the Norwich Sunday League AGM and had been
fined. The Under-13s won the sporting award for their section at the Youth
Combination meeting. Treasurer’s
Report
Mel
expressed thanks to Steve Raven for the production of accounts for the
funday. He also stated that he wanted to relinquish the post of treasurer
and also needed help with the work of
secretary. After a long discussion it was agreed that the club
should advertise for a paid post of treasurer and assistant secretary. In
the meantime Mark Kerr and Ray Milne will help. A job description will be
drawn up for this post as a matter of urgency. Easton
College
There
was a lengthy discussion regarding the proposed partnership with Easton.
The chairman is awaiting a letter from the college confirming the number
of lets available to us over the coming season. The club will be charged
£25 which will be all inclusive of changing facilities, pitch marking
etc. Hethersett
High School
The
club has received a less than satisfactory letter from the High School
stating the pitches will not be available to us for the coming season.
This is particularly disappointing in the light of schools extended usage
in the community. Memorial
Playing Field
It
has not been possible to re-seed goalmouths due to the lateness of taking
goalposts down. Kit
The first team reported on a sponsorship deal for the coming season with Park Farm Hotel and the Queen’s Head.
