Hethersett Athletic

I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for your interest in Hethersett Athletic Football Club and to let you know a little about the club.

Hethersett Athletic was formed in 1991 with just one youth team at Under-12 level. Over the past 15 years it has developed into one of the most progressive clubs in the county.

Today we run 15 teams at all levels. This includes three adult men's teams, two girls' teams, a ladies side and nine boys' youth teams. We provide football in the village for boys, girls, men and women from the age of eight to adult.

In 2002 we were awarded the National FA Charter Standard and in 2003 we went a step further by receiving the FA Community Charter award. This is the top national award available to grass roots clubs. We were one of the first two in Norfolk and first 100 nationally to win this award.

Next season we are hoping to add an adult men's Saturday team and ultimately we are looking to set up our own ground in the village.
