Ivan Fisher and Paul Fisher of Ivan Fisher Independent Funeral Directors visited the Memorial Playing Field at the beginning of September to meet the new Saturday side.

Ivan has generously sponsored a full strip for the new team who kicked off their campaign in style with back to back wins to take them to the top of Division Four of the Crown Fire South and Central Norfolk League.

The hard working management team of the Under 7s has successfully secured shirt sponsorship for their team; the very generous arrangement will allow the latest additions to the “Hethersett Athletic family” to proudly wear the very popular two tone orange shirts already being worn with pride by other teams within the club.

From a club perspective it is very pleasing to see support for the younger age groups which are indeed the very future of the football club. Compton Energy Saving Lamps have also made further funds available to allow for the purchase of more playing kit for the Girls side of the club. The kit again is the popular two tone orange and will be used to cover the age groups from Under 13s – Under 16s and again the club is very grateful for this continued support.
