Hethersett Athletic

The Lee Thompson Memorial Trophy is awarded annually to a player or club official who has made an outstanding contribution to the club in the previous 12 months.

The trophy can be given for an outstanding performance on the field or to somebody who has conquered adversity to play for the club. Nominations are made by individual team managers and the winner is decided by Ray and Mary Thompson in memory of their son Lee who was tragically killed in a road accident.

Lee played a total of 49 times for the club, but also played for a number of other Hethersett youth teams over a number of years.
